THE LINE

My life as a line is always in motion...

I am drawn to every sound, every tune, every rhythm...

I want to feel, grasp and follow, bouncing, crawling, running, dancing - or just standing still -

listening until the last vibration has faded away,

like an antenna to sensory signals I imprint my experiences on paper, wood, copper, walls...

Forever curious, I explore sound space and musical landscapes,

single notes and orchestral dynamic, but also the dripping of rain or the whizzing of wheels on tarmac...

Music moves me, swirling to its tunes, flowing and halting,

sounds of nature prompt me to dance,

the melody of everyday noises invites me to follow its rhythms and beats

and sometimes I trail my own inaudible song …
